Concept boards for war

This image is showing war in world war 1 and world war 2.
The message getting across is what was used in the olden days in war
also how it was used, the image is showing some of the fashion when world war 1&2 was
going on. I done this image in black and grey because it contrasts the olden days and photographs were
taking in black and white. i was inspired by war because i believe the people who fought and the people who are fighting today should be on our minds every single day. War is very dangerous place and extremely life threatening with weapons.

WAR

This image is showing two poems which are about war and i choose these poems because they inspired me by what words were choose to be in that poetry. 'How to Die' is a very emotional poem because it explains from someone who has suffered from loosing someone or has even been at war. "like christians soldiers" is a very toughing line out the poem because its explaining not only is he a soldier he is a christian and will fight like a christian at war. Also another line out of this poem which explains a lot is "Dark clouds are smouldering into red" this is saying all the dark gloomy clouds that hang over war are turning into red to represent blood because too many people are passing away because of this cruel horrid war.

The poem 'Soldier' is a poem wrote by someone who respects soldiers every single part of their life which every single person should do because we are living are normal perfect life and there is people out there fighting for lives and fighting for us therefore thats why we never forget who are fighting for us "SOLDIERS".  A emotional  line from the 'soldiers' poem would be "evil fights against" because why are we fighting in todays world?
Also the third paragraph down in the soldiers poem is the most important because they are fighting not only for them they are fighting for a NATION.

This image is showing the posters from World War I and World War II. The top line is from WWI and the messages getting across are that the whole nation needs everybody even women, women back in the nineteenth century did not work they stayed at home looking after children but when the war came around they voted to be in war. The bottom line of pictures are from WWII and the message getting across would be that the women would leave  staying at home they would have to go to work in factories, also the hitler picture is very controversial because it was a poster to guide you to also carry your gas mask because nobody knew when war would start in different countries.
I was inspired by War because i think its very interesting and has a lot of history like history of WWI, WWII and even today there are people still fighting for our nations.

Controversial ideas and concepts

Controversial mood boards and concept board.

A diagram to show different ideas and concepts of controversial images. My controversial concept boards have different variety of ideas because they are targeted for different audiences.
A mood board to show a controversial image about Religion and Faith. Faith and religion is such
a huge part of the world and different faiths have different audiences but controversial
pictures of faith and religion shock people because they are not usual pictures of
their faith and beliefs. But i believe my religion concept board is targeted for
the beauty in religion and fashion because young girls and women
find the beauty in religion and faith beautifully.

A mood board to show a controversial war image.
The targeted audience for a controversial concept board would be yet again to
get fashion and beauty across because in the fashion industry there has
been brought out army jackets but people get also got offended
by these jackets but also the message across the world for
war would be that we live a perfect normal
life every single day and there is
men on the front line and
women ready to fight
every single day
to fight for our
lives.

A mood board to show a controversial sexuality.

A mood board to show racism should not be stood for and racism is not be stood for in any way.

A mood board to show crime but in a controversial way.

A mood board to show animal cruelty should NOT be allowed also anti fur is a campaign  for  the rights for animals.

Brands that do shock vertising

TOM FORD.

This Tom Ford advertisement is more of a humous/ sexual way.

TOM FORD.

Another sexual advertisement for Tom Ford.

TOM FORD.
Sexual/ humous Tom Ford advertisement.
AMERICAN APPERAL.
Whereas American Apparel are very more sexual and less humous than Tom ford.

AMERICAN APPAREL.
AMERICAN APPAREL.

This is a very very sexual picture by American Apparel, there is no humour in this shock advertisement.

Shock advertising is when a advert is very shocking to look at, some even get banned because people believe they are too shocking to be shown. As i have shown day to day adverts i have also shown commercial adverts such as Tom Ford and American Apparel.
People and campaigns do shock advertising because they want to get that advert across to many people but it can be for all different reasons such as there is ones fore health, fashion, religion, humours, etc.
Tom Ford and American Apparel are a sexual advertising brands that there audience are young professionals, also students more for American Apparel.  Even though some people like sexual adverts some people think that its very offending because they believe sexual advertising should not be shown and also should not be advertise anywhere.
A humous advertisement would be where the advertisement is trying to come across in a funny humour way but also some people think that you should not laugh in an a shock advertisement because some humans get offended.
My opinion on health shock advertisement is the one that i believe it should not be shown on social media or should not be advertised at all because i believe it makes people do bad health to themselves even though it may be getting the message across but in my mind i believe people do not listen or take advice of health shock advertisements. Such as people who have smoked for many years believe if stopping over 30 that it does not effect your body as much because they have smoked for over a decade. However in other opinions people believe if you do read the advice of shock advertisements then it will make you health disappear therefore people have so different opinions on shock advertisements therefore it does not work or relay on everybody.

TEDDY BOYS

Teddy boy also known as ted is a british sub culture typified by young men wearing clothes that were partly inspired by the styles worn by Dandy in the edwardian period. Teddy boys were the first group in england to differentiate themselves as teenagers,Wealthy young men, especially Guards officers, adopted the style of the Edwardian era. At that point in history, the Edwardian era was then just over 40 years previous, and their grandparents, if not their parents, wore the style the first time around. The original Edwardian revival was far more historically accurate in terms of replicating the original Edwardian era style than the later Teddy Boy style. It featured tapered trousers, long jackets that bear a similarity to post-war American suits and fancy waist coats.

In 1953, the major newspapers reported on the sweeping trend in men's fashion across all the towns of  Britain,   towards what was termed the New Edwardian look. However the working class Edwardian style had been on the street since at least 1951, because the style had been created on the street by the street and by working class teenagers and not by Saville Row or the fashion designers.
The name Teddy Boy, was not officially born until September 23rd 1953 when a Daily Express newspaper headline shortened Edward to Teddy and coined the term Teddy Boy. Nevertheless, it is also known that a number of girlfriends of working class Edwardian's were referring to them as Teddy Boys well before the Daily Express used its media power to officially christen Edwardian's into Teddy Boys.
The biggest Teddy Boy gang fight ever known in Leicester flared up at Saffron Lane Fairground in the second week in May of 1958.   At the height of the battle, fairground workers joined in to protect their stalls and rides as many Police arrived on the scene.  According to the showpeople, there were more than 100 Teds mixed up in the fight, and estimates the number of Police involved ranged from a dozen to nearly 30 or 40.  A veteran showman, Mr M. Harris, said this was the worst fight he had seen since the Irish Gang Battle at Coventry some years ago. Teddy Boys have a smart dress sense but also has a editorial edwardian twist on it because it was born in 1950's.

A group of Leeds Teddy Boys in the late 1970's showing the different coloured velvets, use of roll colours and half-moon pockets which were very popular at the time.  Note many Teddy Boys at this time would also wear Leather Jackets which were a spin off from the Rockers of the 1960's.

A gang in london after the infamous Teddy Boy murder.

Hip hop started in 1970's and its influenced allot by music, wearing baggy clothes. People have allot of swag who are into hip-hop well they like to think so because they enjoy their music so much.
Hip-hop is both genre and a cultural movement developed in new york in the bronx and it is said to have begun of by dj Kool Kerc, grandmaster flash and Africa Bambaatta.
There are four fundamental elements in hop hop: Rapping, Hip-hop music, Hip-hop art also Hip-hop dance. Encompassing graffiti art, break dancing, rap music, and fashion. Hip-hop became the dominant cultural movement of the african American and hispanic communities in the 1980's.

We can also use it to communicate with masses or with   consumer. the modes through which one can reach out it audience are: Advertisement, Promotions, Films, Videos, print etc.
In fashion communication there are many different sub cultures such as- teddy boy, skin heads, hip-hop, hippy, goths also punks.  In fashion communication there are so many things than contract with fashion in the world such as-
Wealth- affluent people have more money to spend on high quality clothing also high quality products.
value+religion- value and religion is a big part of fashion communication because certain religions only allow how to dress also we have people who are very eco-friendly and recyclable because they do not want to damage the environment. But there is another way is value and it is being against certain things such as animal cruelty therefore people prefer to be naked than wear fur also there is lots of tribes but they can be all different.
Music is a influenced of the fashion communication and art communication because so many people believe music is the answer to every mood and products.
